What is Quebec Alpacas ?

Quebec Alpacas is a group of breeders wishing to work together in promoting the alpaca industry,  their farms and their animals.  The breeders members of this group wish to share information, promote the alpacas in Quebec and offer bilingual ressources to the current and future breeders in Quebec and elsewhere.

Who's behind Quebec Alpacas

The idea to create a Quebec website for alpacas came to Jean-Yves and Sara, from Alpagas des Hauts Vents, in 2006.  The need to promote the Quebec breeders, in both languages, and here in Quebec was growing.  There were many alpaca breeders in the province, but they didn't know each other and didn't know the animals and bloodlineages available right next door !

This website is first and foremost, a communication and information tool to ease the communication between Quebec breeders.  It is also a promotion tool to show the world what Quebec breeders can do !
